Given the opportunity to create a guerrilla campaign to bring this awareness to light, Spots Don’t Lie was developed and a social media campaign was born. 58.67 million people visit beaches all over the country every year. Sun, fun and everything that comes with it... Including skin cancer.
Cruella DeVille and her dalmatian took to the boardwalk to educate and inform. Their spots representing irregular moles as they stroll up and down interacting with sun-goers and melanoma victims. Pictures taken. Selfies obtained. Conversations started. While their walk may only be a day, the lasting impression lives on much longer.
